Following the revealed scriptwriting shakedown for the second series of BBC Sherlock, (source BBC press stuff and other places) some things have been percolating through the grey matter.

SGA has the worst and the best charateristics of all fanfic fandoms, being fully developed and rolling onwards for years..  Major character transformed into a cat story.  I have a horrid feeling I know the author under about three other names and email that writer regularly, but that's another thing for later.

I got caught up for the last week and a half in the SGA Big Bang long read website.
